Excellent message

It was their anniversary, and Aisha was waiting for her husband Rajiv to show up.

Things had changed since their marriage, the once cute couple couldn't-live-without-each-other had turned bitter.

Fighting over every little things, both didn't like the way things had changed.

Aisha was waiting to see if Rajiv remembered it was their anniversary!

Just as the door bell rang she ran to find her husband wet and smiling with a bunch of flowers in his hand.

The two started re-living the old days. Making up for fights, then was d plan for champagne, light music And it was raining! It was perfect.

But the moment paused when the phone in the bedroom rang.

Aisha went to pick it up and it was a man. "Hello ma'am I'm calling from the police station. Is this Mr Rajiv Mehra's number?"

"Yes it is!"

"I'm sorry ma'am; but there was an accident and a man died.

We got this number from his wallet; we need you to come and identify his body."

Aisha's heart sank.!!! She was shocked!

But my husband is here with me?"

"Sorry ma'am, but the incident took place at 2 pm, when he was boarding the train."

Aisha was about to lose her conscience.

How could this happen?!

She had heard about the soul of the person coming to meet a loved one before it leaves!

She ran into the other room.

He was not there. It was true! had left her for good!!

Oh God she would have died for another chance to mend every little fight! She rolled on the floor in pain. She lost her chance! Forever!

Suddenly there was a noise from the bathroom, the door opened and Rajiv came out and said "Darling, I forgot to tell you my wallet got stolen today".

LIFE MIGHT NOT GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE. SO NEVER WASTE A MOMENT WHEN YOU CAN STILL MAKE UP FOR YOUR WRONGS!!!

Let's start making amends.

To parents

To siblings

To friends

And many more.

No one has a promised tomorrow.

Have a wonderful Life with no regrets!

This is funny!

Two little boys stole a big bag of oranges from a neighbor and decided to go to a calm place to share the lot equally. One of them suggested the nearby cemetery.
As they were jumping the big gate to enter the cemetery, two oranges fell out of the big bag but they didn't bother to pick them since they had enough in the bag.
Few minutes later, a drunkard on his way from a bar, passed near the cemetery gate and heard a voice saying:
"one for me, one for you, one for me, one for you"....
He immediately sobered up and ran as fast as he could to a church nearby, for the priest...
"Father, please come with me . Come and witness God and Satan sharing corpse at the cemetery"...
They both ran back to the cemetery gate and the voice continued : "one for me, one for you, one for me, one for you'...
Suddenly, the voice stopped counting and said: "what about the two at the gate?"...

See marathon race!.. The priest almost ran passed the church gate..shouting: "We are not dead yet oohh!!!".

Women

One evening at an investment seminar, a man spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Her natural beauty took his breath away. "I may look like just an ordinary man," he said to her, but in just a few years, my father will die and I'll inherit $200 MILLION."

Impressed, the woman obtained his business card...... And three weeks later, she became his

Here are ten things super successful people do during lunch:

Here are ten things super successful people do during lunch:

1. They leave their desks. “Staying at your desk is a big no-no in my book,” Michael Kerr, president of Humor at Work, says in an interview with Forbes. “There are more and more reports on the dangers of sitting too long, so even just getting up to walk to another room to eat is important."

2. They go outside. A walk in the park can help rejuvenate the mind after a morning of hard work. Researchers at the University of Michigan found that subjects with recent exposure to nature performed better on memory and attention tests than those who did not.

3. They exercise. Steve Cooper, editor-in-chief of Hitched Magazine, says he runs during his lunch break every day. "The sweat, the fatigue, the endorphin rush all give me a boost in the afternoon and into the evening," he writes in a column on Forbes. "It sounds counterintuitive, but after my runs I have more energy for the rest of the day and my mind is again sharp and ready to tackle any task."

4. They read. “[Take] in as much information as possible throughout the day—reading magazines, watching films," says advertising executive Tor Myhren. The man behind the E-Trade talking babies campaign adds that "all that information in your brain" creates an "inspiration overload." Lunch could be just the opportunity you need to get your creative juices flowing.

5. They eat healthy. A recent study found that those who stick to healthy diets are 25 percent more likely to be high performers at work than those who do not, according to Business News Daily.

6. But they don't over-eat. NPR points out that over-eating can cause your body to produce too much insulin, which lowers blood sugar and can make you tired or even depressed. The phenomenon is popularly known as a "food coma," and it makes getting back to work more challenging than it has to be.

7. They grab lunch with friends or colleagues. "Lunch is an excellent time to continue to build relationships and network with others," career coach Anita Attridgetells Forbes. Bradford Shellhammer, the co-founder of Fab.com, agrees that you should never eat lunch by yourself. "Food is also social to me, so I'd never want to check out and eat alone," he explains to Entrepreneur Magazine.

8. Sometimes, they even do lunch with enemies! Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Atlantic, tells the Wall Street Journal lunch can be a chance to bridge the gap with a rival. "Years ago British Airways went to extraordinary lengths to put us out of business," he said. "After the court case, I rang up Sir Colin Marshall, who ran [British Airways], and said, 'would you like to come out for lunch?' ... We had a delightful lunch at my house in London and became friends and buried the hatchet."

9. They listen to music. Listening to music is a great way to blow off steam during your lunch break because it provides what the Mayo Clinic calls a "mental distraction." The result: reduced muscle tension and decreased stress levels.

10. They take naps. Research suggests that daytime naps improve cognitive performance, The New York Times notes. That could be why Arianna Huffington created nap rooms at The Huffington Post. "Ultimately, at work, the most important thing is our energy," she says in an interview with Business Insider. "It's not exactly how many hours we are sitting at our desks, but how present are we when we're there."

Is coconut water good for you?

BY Christina LarmerFreelance Journalist

Loved by sports nuts and superstars, coconut water is the hot new health drink. But is it all it's cracked up to be?

Madonna, Demi and Lara Bingle all swig it, but opinion is divided as to whether coconut water is the wonder health drink some claim it to be.

Advocates say coconut water - the clear liquid inside a young coconut - is a nutritional goldmine. Already popular in Brazil, where sales top $300 million a year, coconut water is one of the fastest-growing new food categories in the UK and sales doubled in the US last year, thanks to investment by Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Madonna, who poured $1.5 million into the brand Vita Coco and convinced Matthew McConaughey and Demi Moore to do the same.

Not to be confused with coconut milk, the fattier, pulped coconut meat, pure coconut water has been available fresh from health food outlets and in pre-packaged form in Asian supermarkets for years, and has just made its Australian debut in general supermarkets.

The Jamaicans use it as a heart tonic and the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organisation says it's full of natural electrolytes.

But Tania Ferraretto, an accredited practising dietitian with Nutrition Professionals Australia, says, "At this point I wouldn't recommend coconut water to my clients." Aloysa Hourigan, senior nutritionist with Nutrition Australia, agrees. "I think the claims for coconut water are probably overrated. It's unlikely to be harmful and it has got some mineral component, but it doesn't have a high nutritional content."

Health claims

It's a low-fat health drink. Deemed a healthy alternative to sugar- and kilojoule-packed soft drinks and juices, pure coconut water is a natural beverage with no artificial additives or sweeteners. It's cholesterol free, 99 per cent fat free, low in carbohydrates and naturally occurring sugars and has less than 100 kilojoules per 100ml (most flavoured varieties use 100 per cent fruit extracts).

It also boasts zinc, selenium, iodine, sulfur, manganese, boron, molybdenum, ascorbic acid and B-group vitamins. But Hourigan says the latter two are not at a substantial level and Ferraretto warns that the bottled source may not be as good as the real deal. "What's the shelf life for all these components and are they still active when they've been on the shelf for a while?" she asks. She says you also need to remember thatcoconut water is not kilojoule free.

It's better than a sports drink

Dubbed "nature's Gatorade", coconut water is a natural isotonic drink that provides many of the same benefits as formulated sports drinks, including the electrolytes calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium, but in their natural form.

"While it's a marketing advantage to say it's natural, in the real world your body doesn't distinguish between the electrolytes coming from coconut water or from a sports drink," says Ferraretto. And while a small Malaysian study found it caused less nausea, fullness and stomach upset than sports drinks, and could be used for whole-body rehydration after exercise, she would not yet recommend it for athletes.

"Although it does provide electrolytes and a little bit of carbohydrate, a sports drink is specifically formulated for athletes and the electrolytes and carbohydrates are at the right level." She says the rest of us get all the hydration and electrolytes we need from a healthy diet.

It slows down ageing

Fans say coconut water can promote smoother, more youthful-looking skin. They claim it's a natural source of cytokinins, a group of plant growth hormones that help regulate cell growth, development and ageing. Rich in  potassium, antioxidants and lauric acid, cytokinins are said to balance pH levels, strengthen and hydrate connective tissues and even reduce the risk of age-related diseases. Dab it onto skin and you may also reduce acne, cellulite, eczema, stretch marks, wrinkles, age spots and sagging skin. But Hourigan says no scientific studies back any of this up.

It's almost as good as a blood transfusion

According to the UN, coconut water's chemical profile is so similar to blood plasma it has been used intravenously to save lives in developing countries and during World War II. In the Pacific, it was siphoned  directly from the nut to provide emergency transfusions for wounded soldiers. It is also used as a home remedy for dehydration-related ailments such as cholera and gastroenteritis, although a West Indian study warned against using it in severe cases. "When medical saline isn't available it can replace water and salt," Hourigan agrees. "But it doesn't contribute enough glucose."

Regulates blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol

Research shows that coconut water can improve blood circulation, lower elevated blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes, says Dr Bruce Fife, director of the Coconut Research Center and author of Coconut Water For Health And Healing (Perfect Paperback). Advocates also claim it helps increase HDL (good) cholesterol, reduces plaque formation, moderates sugar absorption and improves insulin sensitivity. "People at risk of high blood pressure and stroke need more potassium and less sodium, but I'd like to see more studies on [coconut water and] cholesterol and diabetes,"  Ferraretto says.

Good for digestive and urinary health

Coconut water claims to be a cure-all for a range of digestive and urinary ailments and has been used in the tropics to treat stomach flu, dysentery, indigestion, constipation, intestinal worms, bladder infections and malfunctioning kidneys. It's a natural diuretic and is said to prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) and kidney stones. Research from the Philippines found drinking coconut water up to three times a week may reduce stone size and the need for surgery.

Ferraretto argues that water is better for hydration and urine flow and says if you're worried about UTIs, try cranberry juice. "We know there's some evidence there," she says. Coconut water is considered safe for children as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women and there are no known side effects, however there are some things to watch out for:

The fresher the coconut water, the better. Once exposed to air and warm temperatures, it rapidly ferments and loses its nutritional value. If you have nut allergies, check with your GP.Avoid coconut oil if you have heart disease, kidney disease or are on a low-potassium diet. Regulate your potassium levels if you consume coconut water and potassium supplements, as too much potassium can impact on the heart. It may have a laxative effect.

Take care..

Be happy - SUITCASE

Meaningful to the last drop!

Be happy at all times !!!

The Suitcase

A man died, when he realized it, he saw God coming closer with a suitcase in his hand.
- God said: Alright son its time to go.
- surprised the man responded: Now? So soon? I had a lot of plans...
- I'm sorry but its time to go.

- What do you have in that suitcase? the man asked.
- God answered: Your belongings.
- My belongings? you mean my things, my clothes, my money?
-God answered: Those things were not yours they belonged to the earth.

- Is it my memories? the man asked.
-God answered: those never belonged to you they belonged to Time

- Is it my talents?
-God answered: those were never yours they belonged to the circumstances.

- Is it my friends and family?
-God answered: I'm sorry they were never yours they belonged to the path.

- Is it my wife and son?
- God answered: They were never yours they belonged to your heart.

- Is it my body?
- God answered: that was never yours it belonged to the dust.

-Is it my soul?
God answered: No that is mine.

Full of fear, the man took the suitcase from God and opened it just to find out the suitcase was empty.

- With a tear coming down his cheek the man said: I never had anything???
- God answered: that is correct, every moment you lived were only yours. Life is just a moment. A moment that belongs to you. For this reason enjoy this time while you have it. Don't let anything that you think you own stop you from doing so.
- Live Now
- Live your life
- Don't forget to be happy, that is the only thing that matters.
- Material things and everything else that you fought for stay here.
- YOU CAN'T TAKE ANYTHING

Kopi-O KOSONG

This is DRINK for thought !

Kopi-O KOSONG - good for you! Without milk or creamer and less/no sugar.

By Sylvia Booth Hubbard, Newsmax

For many years, coffee was considered a vice, linked with sleepless nights and cigarettes. But scientists have discovered that coffee contains potent antioxidants that can fight numerous ailments, including heart disease and diabetes. According to the American Coffee Association, 54% of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis, and they drink, on average, over three cups each.

The diseases coffee can benefit include :

Dementia. Drinking moderate amounts of coffee during middle age -classified as three to five cups daily - can decrease the risk of dementia by 65%, according to a 2009 study by Swedish and Finnish researchers.

Liver disease .In those who drink too much alcohol, those who drank the most coffee - more than four cups every day - reduced their risk of developing alcoholic cirrhosis by 80%.

Heart disease .Research associated with The Nurses' Health Study found that women who drank two to three cups of coffee daily had a 25% lower risk of dying from heart disease. Along the same line, a Spanish study found that men who drank more than five cups of coffee each day lowered their risk of dying from heart disease by 44%, and that women who drank four to five cups each day reduced their risk by 34%.

Prostate cancer .A recent study from Harvard Medical School found that men who drank the most coffee slashed their risk of developing the fastest growing and most difficult to treat prostate cancers by more than half when compared to men who drank no coffee.

Gout. Drinking four or more cups of coffee each day dramatically reduces the incidence of gout, say U.S. and Canadian researchers. Men who drank four to five cups daily lowered their risk by 40 percent, and those who drank six or more cups daily reduced their risk of developing gout by 59% when compared to men who didn't drink coffee.

Breast cancer .Coffee can either reduce the risk of developing breast cancer or delay its onset, according to Swedish studies. They found that coffee alters a woman's metabolism and produces a safer balance of estrogens. Women who drank two to three cups of coffee a day reduced their cancer risk by as much as two-thirds, depending on the specific type of breast cancer.

Diabetes's Enjoying six or more cups of coffee daily can cut chances of Type 2 diabetes by 54% in men and 30% in women over those who don't drink coffee.

Parkinson's disease .Several studies show that drinking coffee lowers a man's risk of developing Parkinson's up to 80 percent - and the more the better.

Colon cancer A Japanese report found that women who drank three or more cups of coffee every day slashed their risk of developing colon cancer in half.

What's responsible for coffee's healthy benefits? Most researchers believe it's the antioxidants (polyphones or flavonoids) in coffee, but there are hundreds of compounds in coffee that may be partially responsible.
Kopi-O kosong ~ bottoms up! Cheers...
